We’re proud to announce that Made For Trade is sponsoring the Redcar Athletic Under 9’s football team.
The team completed in their first tournament on Saturday 1st July, at Saltburn Athletic FC.
They had a successful run, progressing through the group stages and making it to the semi-finals where unfortunately they lost on penalties, but we’re still incredibly proud of their efforts and they proved they’re a team with a lot of potential.
This is the team’s first competitive venture, and they have shown great promise. We’re excited to see what they achieve in future, and we are committed to supporting them.
Redcar Athletic has a thriving junior section with teams ranging from under 7s right through to under 18s with over 250 children spread across them. The teams all compete in the Sunday Teesside Junior Football Alliance with training sessions held midweek.
They cater for all ability levels, providing a safe and fun environment within which the children can learn, enjoy and develop their football skills.
We believe supporting local youth sports is important. Team sports help to build character, teamwork, promote sportsmanship and fair play. Key values we stand for at Made For Trade. It’s also a great way to stay active and healthy.
We are proud to be a part of the teams journey and we’re excited to see what the future holds.
