At Made for Trade (MFT), we’re passionate about building a better future, and that includes supporting worthy causes. This year, we’re proud to be continuing our partnership with Race for Life, the UK’s leading fundraising event for Cancer Research UK.
Made for Trade Team Rises to the Challenge
We’re thrilled to share the story of our dedicated team of MFT employees who participated in previous Race for Life Pretty Muddy challenges. This gruelling 5km obstacle course, held in Newcastle’s Town Moor, tests participants’ strength, agility, and determination – all while raising vital funds for cancer research.
The team spirit was high as they tackled mud pits, A-frames, and bouncy obstacles, proving that even while covered in mud (as Tracy Garrod described it: “muddy, cold but a lot of fun!”), they were all smiles and determined to conquer the course for a good cause.
We’d like to extend a huge congrats to Amy Pout, Bradley Gaunt, Mike Robinson, Chris Wann, Laura Bailey, James McDougall, Kaylee Robinson, Kaylee Brougham, Paul Wrench, Catherine Genery-Todd, and Tracy Garrod who collectively raised an impressive £1070 for Cancer Research UK!

Looking Ahead: How You Can Get Involved
Cancer Research UK are the world leaders in finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. The money raised by the Made for Trade staff will help fund Dr Gerhardt Attard and his team into prostate cancer research.
Race for Life Cancer Research UK organises regular races and events throughout the UK. If anybody is interested in taking part in a Pretty Muddy race or any other type of event you can do so here.
