Contemporary, innovative, unique, luxurious, affordable – bi-folding door and conservatory roof fabricator Made For Trade have created an exciting new product that is set to be revealed at the upcoming FIT Show in April.
Designed by a highly-skilled team with ease-of-fit, durability and aesthetics in mind, the result is a creation that the company hope will be a popular choice for builders, installers, architects, and homeowners alike.
The product contains parts that are currently patent pending. It will be manufactured at Made For Trade’s state-of-the-art new premises, using components that are both unique and innovative.
Completely bespoke and produced to each customer’s specific requirements and specifications, Managing Director Bradley Gaunt believes he has created a unique product that will fill a gap in the current market.
He explained: “We set out to develop and design something that is attractive, slim line, and thermally efficient, with the added bonus that it is incredibly quick and simple to fit.
"A great deal of time was spent on the design and I believe we have now been able tick every box on our list. I am really very excited about introducing it at the FIT Show.”
It will be Made For Trade’s first time exhibiting at the event on Telford and the introduction of the new product is set to become a huge talking-point in the industry.
The company’s debut at the FIT Show coincides with their rapid rise, with demand for Made For Trade’s bi-folding doors growing by 94% in 2015, and factory space and employee numbers dramatically increasing over the last few years.
As a result, new machinery has been installed in the existing factories in order to help deal with the increasing demand for the firm’s products. A second Emmergi CNC door router has given the bi-folds department the capabilities of producing over 120 sets of bi-folding doors a week, while a 5 axis CNC Elumatec double headed saw has allowed the conservatory roof department to become quicker and more efficient.
The Made For Trade team has also grown, with over 60 people now employed by the company. Additions in 2015 included two new members to the Accounts office, a Transport Manager, and a Graphic Designer. Further staff are now being sought for the company’s latest premises, which will facilitate the production of the new product.
